Yes! Payment information is securely transmitted to our payment processor using 128-bit SSL encryption; these security standards are comparable to those used by banking websites. 
We use Braintree to process credit card payments made through Tophatter. Braintree, a PayPal company, is one of the premier payment processors offering the highest level of security possible as a Validated Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Service Provider.   
You have the option to securely store your credit card information so you don't have to enter it manually for every purchase. When you enter your card details, Braintree provides a token that is connected to your credit card. When you make a payment on Tophatter with your card, we send the token to Braintree and ask them to charge your card. This is completed electronically within seconds, and Braintree never passes the credit card information along to sellers or to anyone at Tophatter.
You can delete your credit card information whenever you’d like. Just go to the app menu and click Account Info under the menu, then click Manage Payment Cards, or visit Manage Payment Methods on the website.
